About The Position

General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery. The successful candidate will learn Tyson SAP software to create work orders and complete daily documentation. They must be able to read and write, use math for calculations related to machinery and fluid capacities, and communicate clearly with management and team members regarding equipment repair status.

Requirements

A minimum of 1-year Industrial related maintenance experience.
Technical certifications.
Working knowledge of electricity, power transmissions, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting, and the use of shop tools.
Ability to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to use math as needed to make work-related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc.
Ability to lift 70 lbs. with assistance on a daily basis.
Ability to work on your feet for 12 hours.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required.

Responsibilities
