About The Position

This role involves planning and performing a wide variety of construction repair and remodeling tasks, including carpentry, drywall, general painting, masonry, plaster, grout, and cement work on all interior and exterior facilities and equipment throughout the plant. The position requires estimating project requirements, determining material amounts, and working from blueprints, sketches, and written or verbal instructions. Record-keeping and related duties are also part of the role. This classification is for identity purposes only and does not detail all operations performed or required. The role may involve high-risk or hazardous operations and/or working shifts beyond a standard workweek, requiring employees to be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements

2 years of General Maintenance experience including carpentry plus painting or masonry type work.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Plan layout and perform a wide variety of construction repair and remodeling including carpentry, dry wall, general painting, masonry, plaster, grout, and cement work on all interior and exterior facilities and equipment throughout the plant.
Estimate project requirements and determine proper amounts of materials to be used.
Work from blueprints, sketches, and written or verbal instructions.
Maintain records and perform related duties.
