Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (5) years’ experience as a general maintenance worker or similar
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc)
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting
• Good customer service, people skills
• Employees must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.
• Employees must always maintain a constant state of situational awareness.
• Employees are required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
• Lifting and/or moving items weighing 50-75 pounds are required.
• Use of hand tools to perform the job.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
• If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Generator Maintenance
• General maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as: Painting, Carpentry, Plumbing, Masonry, Electrical Work
• Changing filters and belts in Air Handlers
• Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, lights
• Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
