About The Position

Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, and masonry work. Performs preventive maintenance requirements on equipment as it pertains to the position.

Requirements

• GED or High School Graduate
• 3 years’ experience doing general maintenance work in a commercial facility
• Experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment
• Able to understand verbal or written direction from lead, supervisor or other craftsmen
• Attendance is required to be successful
• HVAC: 1 year (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken window panes preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Uses plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Performs minor repairs or replacing to concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replaces damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hangs doors and installs door locks and replaces broken windowpanes.
• Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Touch up painting or patching of walls.
• Work along with team members to maintain the maintenance and upkeep of the facility grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
