With minimal supervision, the General Maintenance Worker performs a wide variety of building and equipment maintenance tasks, including electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, HVAC assistance, and facility repairs. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical maintenance.
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass a Driving Record (MVR) check
Ability to pass a General Background Check
Ability to pass New Mexico Department of Health Fingerprinting

Responsibilities

Assist in repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, carpentry and machine shop equipment, electrical systems, and general facilities maintenance.
Replace electrical receptacles, switches, wiring, fixtures, and motors.
Repair damaged flooring, tiles, and wall paneling.
Perform maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Perform sheet metal and fabrication duties.
Complete special projects and assignments as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Carry and respond to work phone communications promptly.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Operate company or personal vehicles professionally when required.
Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity.
