Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, structural, fuel or plumbing system maintenance.
  • Able to read and interpret Work Orders, parts requests, and manuals, to accomplish assigned duties.
  • Strong working knowledge of maintenance craft tools.
  • Ability to utilize computer tablet to view work orders or look up parts.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, heavier items with assistance.
  • Able to sit, stand, walk, drive, kneel, squat, bend, crawl, stoop, reach, climb ladders, work in tight spaces.
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to also read drawings/schematics/blueprints.
  • HVAC EPA card.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all assigned duties as safely and efficiently as possible to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Maintains and repairs real property to include but not limited to replacement and installation of electrical, mechanical, structural, fuel and plumbing systems, appliances and associated hardware to meet workload requirements.
  • Makes adjustments to shop equipment to insure proper operation.
  • Accomplishes periodic inspections, recurring maintenance requirements and associated documentation.
  • Maintains systems to conform to written guidance and applicable changes.
  • Maintains required operating forms and records and assures proper use of all assigned shop equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional and mission requirements.
