About The Position

The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving all club facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for members and staff. This role requires a hands-on, versatile technician capable of performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs. This is not a single-trade role. The technician is expected to support all areas of facility operations as needed.

Requirements

2+ years of general maintenance or facilities experience
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
Valid driver's license
Must be reliable, responsive, and take ownership of assigned work
Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks
Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with members and staff

Nice To Haves

Flexibility to work occasional evenings or holidays as needed
Participation in a rotating weekend schedule, including working one Sunday every three (3) weeks
Flexibility to adjust schedule based on operational needs, events, or emergency situations

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs across clubhouse, Beach Club, and all club properties
Execute basic electrical work (lighting, outlets, switches, minor troubleshooting)
Perform minor plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacements)
Complete carpentry tasks (shelving, fencing, trim work, small builds)
Conduct painting, drywall repair, and finishing work
Assist with preventative maintenance programs and work orders through our CMMS
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
Support setup and breakdown of club events when needed
Identify and report potential issues before they become major problems
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
Work collaboratively with other technicians and departments
