About The Position

We're looking for a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious General Maintenance Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring that our commercial building is well-maintained and operates seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have a knack for problem-solving and take pride in keeping spaces running smoothly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks that include standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
Ability to pass a company and government clearance background check.
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

1-3 years of experience in commercial building operations, maintenance, or construction roles preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on building systems, including painting, drywall patching, carpet tile replacement, plumbing, carpentry, and more.
Ensure all maintenance work meets industry standards and equipment manufacturer specifications.
Document all activities through our work order system, ensuring all tasks are completed in line with the lease and landlord obligations.
Respond to emergency repairs, assisting in unscheduled issues when needed.
Communicate effectively with tenants, visitors, and property management, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
Monitor and assist contractors on-site to ensure quality and safety.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
