This includes cosmetic repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to on-demand service calls. Requirements

Possess a valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record and personal vehicle insurance.
4 years of general maintenance technician experience, preferably with a multi location business requiring travel between the locations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent conflict resolution skills: strong self-concept and ability to make decisions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail.
Requires rapid and thorough decision making and creative problem-solving skills.
Good judgment as well as the ability to accept personal accountability for areas of responsibility.
Acts with integrity and professionalism.
Ability to travel to and from various sites outside of local daily.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance.
Experience in refrigeration repairs and preventative maintenance.
Experience in plumbing repairs.
Experience in cosmetic property repairs.
Experience in small appliance repair.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall repair & maintenance of all DQ Tyler restaurants.
Performs cosmetic repairs such as tile work, painting, etc.
Responds to on-demand service requests for cooking equipment, refrigeration, and HVAC systems with the HVAC specialist.
Maintains working knowledge of electrical & plumbing systems.
Oversees external service providers when dispatched as necessary.
Keeps excellent records and logs repairs as completed.
Supports restaurant leadership by meeting needs and communicating issues.
Possesses a service mindset.
Participates in and follows all DQ Tyler policies, guidelines, and procedures (Safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc.).
