Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, degree in specific trades and/or 2 or more years related experience.
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be eligible for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state in which you reside.
  • In addition to the pre-employment background check, this position will be subject to periodic checks of your driving record to determine your continued suitability to drive company and/or patron vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Performs maintenance service and repairs of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, and machine service.
  • Performs diagnostics and maintenance on rubber, tar, and metal roofing systems.
  • Performs wall vinyl repair and replacement, drywall installation and finishing, ceiling tile, floor tile, masonry, carpet repair and installation.
  • Responsible for changing light bulbs and cleaning fixtures.
  • Tracks par stock, inventory, and orders supplies through company purchasing system.
  • May be responsible for assisting with snow removal.
  • Can read and understand basic blueprints and drawings.
  • Practices safe working conditions.
  • Operates and repairs automatic key card reading systems.
  • Operates and repairs in room safes.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of in-room through wall HVAC systems.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of commercial washing and drying machines.
