About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep of our hotel. Candidates must be proficient in all aspects of property maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills and be able to work independently. Prior property maintenance experience strongly preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Nice To Haves
- Prior property maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Be courteous to both internal and external customers at all times
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
