About The Position

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a General Maintenance Helper who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required. The General Maintenance Helper provides maintenance and repair services for hotel equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems, while responding to issues promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Holidays and weekends availability is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering work areas and hotel spaces
• Perform painting, sanding, staining, and light carpentry tasks
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance
• Support troubleshooting and repairs of equipment such as motors, breakers, and chillers
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in rooms and public areas
• Assist in emergency responses, including fire alarms and power outages
• Help transport and manage parts, tools, and materials as needed
