About The Position

BUILD. REPAIR. MAINTAIN. MAKE AN IMPACT EVERY DAY. Are you a skilled carpenter with experience in construction, repairs, electrical work, and facility maintenance? Do you take pride in craftsmanship and keeping buildings safe, functional, and looking their best? If so, we want YOU on our team! As a General Maintenance Carpenter, you’ll perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance and construction tasks to keep facilities operating efficiently and safely. No two days are the same!

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass background and driver record checks
Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Professional attitude and commitment to safety

Nice To Haves

Carpentry and general construction experience
Basic electrical knowledge
Drywall installation and finishing
Painting and surface preparation experience
Ability to drive trucks up to 26,000 GVW
Forklift operation experience (up to 15,000 lbs.)
CPR/First Aid Certification preferred
OSHA safety awareness and compliance mindset

Responsibilities

Performing expert-level carpentry, repairs, and facility maintenance
Installing and repairing drywall, doors, windows, roofs, fences, and gates
Sanding, priming, painting, and finishing wood, metal, and plastic surfaces
Completing electrical tasks such as wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting installation
Reading blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to plan projects
Repairing locks and maintaining building hardware
Documenting completed work and materials used
Operating trucks and forklifts safely
Maintaining safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant work areas
Supporting special projects and additional maintenance assignments
