About The Position

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Janitorial and General Maintenance Worker in our North Mankato-MN facility. This role involves performing daily cleaning of various areas, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, and conducting minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems. The position also includes assisting with facility inspections, hardware repairs, painting, setting up for events, and potentially supporting warehouse activities. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
Empty trash and recycling containers
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
Replace light bulbs, filters, and ceiling tiles
Assist with HVAC filter changes and basic system checks
Conduct routine facility inspections and/or identify repair needs
Repair doors, locks, handles, and other hardware
Paint and patch walls as needed
Set up and break down equipment or furniture for meetings and events
Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance (if applicable)
Assist as backup for warehouse activity following forklift certification
