Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must have verifiable work experience in hotel (or similar industry) maintenance including preventive maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and kitchen repair.
Technical schooling or four years of related work experience, in the above trades, required and must be verifiable.
Valid driver’s license required; ability to be certified and operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other similar equipment.
Must be dependable, self-motivated; able to work alone as required; work with minimal supervision.
By end of the probationary period, employee must be able to achieve established standards.

Responsibilities

Conducting maintenance and preventive maintenance of plumbing, electrical (up to 480 volts), HVAC, carpentry, painting
Pool equipment repairs and projects; performing kitchen equipment installation and repairs
Carrying out Convention Center exhibitor requests (electrical, banner hanging, etc.)
Recycling duties & grounds clean up
Following all established safety/energy conservation procedures
Maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor
Performing other duties as assigned by Supervisor
