About The Position

Sterling ATM is a Utah-based design and manufacturing company specializing in ATM enclosures for financial institutions nationwide, along with our Bean Trailer product line. We’re a growing, hands-on team looking for dependable people who want to learn, contribute, and grow with the company. We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to support our accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational accounting knowledge who is ready to build experience across multiple areas of accounting in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of accounting experience or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Familiarity with Excel and willingness to learn accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Nice To Haves

• GAAP knowledge a plus
• QuickBooks experience a plus
• Epicor a bonus

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close processes
• Perform cash and credit card reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry and billing
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with sales tax filings (city, state, and county)
• Maintain vendor and customer records, including tax-exempt forms
• Help resolve basic billing and payment discrepancies
• Support reporting, data entry, and general administrative tasks as needed
