About The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Non Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Sault Ste. Marie location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

Requirements

• Good Computer Skills
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to work as a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience in operating a crane
• Experience in metal recycling considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and organize different types of ferrous metals
• Cover the scale and weigh in trucks when required using the RECY system to properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
• Operate the Fork lift as required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset

• Hourly pay for this position is to start at CAD25.75 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours
