General Labour: Day Shift, Afternoon and Night shifts currently available Permanent, Full-time 40 Hours per week Location: North Bay Come and join our team! Responsibilities

  • Assist by performing duties such as; supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work area, disassembling equipment, operating cut-off saw, grinding and operating forklift to move materials.
  • Operate equipment where training has been completed
  • Assist in site preparation by clearing debris, removing obstacles, and setting up work areas.
  • Lift raw materials, finished products, package items. Prepare them for shipment manually or by using forklift (if trained on a forklift)
  • Provide support to workers, by holding materials, operating equipment, and assisting when needed
  • Complete all paperwork as required per Norgalv process. This could be in paper form or electronically
  • Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
  • Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines.
  • Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered-lift trucks.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized by removing debris, waste materials, and hazardous materials.
  • Dispose of waste properly.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Report any safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts, hand tools, and power tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen regarding project requirements and tasks.
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Communicates with co-workers, management, customers and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure that customer requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
