About The Position

AROW Global is the leading designer and manufacturer of window and glazing systems for the mass transit industry in North America. AROW Global is a dynamic, progressive, and innovative organization looking for new talent in our growing Winnipeg manufacturing facility. The Production Worker position offers support and takes the lead in the day-to-day production and packaging of agricultural parts, assembling transit bus windows, and assembling driver protection systems. We are looking for individuals who are team-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

• Strong ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals
• The ability to lift to 50 lbs. continuously when required
• The ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• The ability to read/interpret drawings/breakdowns
• Understanding the importance of producing quality products
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assembly cell type of work specifically for Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, and glass materials
• Working with your hands, lifting, and moving large pieces of metal, and standing for hours at a time requires physical strength and stamina
• Assisting machine operators with machine setup, quality control, deburring, stocking and preparing materials for shipment
• Use of precision measurement instruments
• Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packaged
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform quality checks to ensure items meet quality standards
• Collaborating with team members to meet production goals
