About The Position

NOW HIRING – General Laborers (Temporary Assignment) Pay Rate: $17.50/hour Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL Reliable attendance is required. Employees must report to work on time and maintain consistent attendance throughout the assignment. Excessive absences or tardiness may result in termination.

Requirements

• Steel-toed boots required.
• Metatarsal protection required.
• Orange hard hat required.
• Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify unsafe production fixtures, chains, and hooks to ensure proper repair or disposal of unsafe items.
• Hand-wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing.
• Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking.
• Move lightweight steel pieces by hand throughout the plant and yard.
• Use files, power sanders, and wire brushes to remove icicles and other non-conformances from finished products.
• Use a torch to repair bare spots using hot stick or zinc-rich paint according to ASTM specifications.
• Stack, bundle, stretch wrap, and band materials according to customer requirements to ensure safe load securement for transport.
• Assist with general plant cleanup and housekeeping duties.
