About The Position

Austin Bridge & Road is hiring General Laborers to support daily operations at its equipment yard in North Phoenix, Arizona. The role assists with organizing, maintaining, and moving construction equipment and materials. Duties include cleaning and preparing equipment, loading and unloading materials, performing basic visual inspections, assisting mechanics, keeping the yard safe and orderly, and supporting equipment delivery and return logistics. The position involves physical labor and requires following safety procedures and instructions in a fast-paced environment. The role may involve working indoors and outdoors in rain or snow and in cold, warm, and hot temperatures. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or vocational training/certification.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings to support a safe work environment.
Ability to follow safety rules, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
Strong commitment to jobsite safety and diligence in demonstrating safe work practices.
Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Work indoors and outdoors at times in rain or snow and in cold, warm, and hot temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in construction, equipment yards, warehouses, or general labor is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily equipment-yard operations and organization.
Load, unload, move, and stage construction equipment, tools, and materials.
Clean, fuel, and prepare equipment for use, delivery, or return.
Perform basic visual inspections and report equipment issues or safety concerns.
Support mechanics and yard staff with basic tasks as needed.
Assist with inventory tracking, yard setup, and assigned general labor tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environment.
Follow safety policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
Perform other related duties to support yard and operational needs.
