About The Position

Eagle Transfer Co. is seeking a hard-working individual for a Full-Time Driver and Laborer position. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can complete time-sensitive job tasks with minimal supervision. This driver-mover position performs tasks including, but not limited to, driving company vehicles, packing, loading, delivering, and unpacking household and office furniture. This position will work with a variety of equipment including company vehicles, hand trucks, moving dollies, walk-boards (ramps), pallet jacks, lift-gates, and forklifts. Duties may change with advancement of skills.

Pass pre-employment background check and potential driver's license background check.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles safely moving from job to job.
Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor moving furniture and heavy objects.
Be able to lift 50 pounds safely and properly.
Load and unload trucks and moving vans in a variety of weather conditions.
Pack and unpack boxes including fragile items such as china and crystal.
Properly blanket wrap furniture for safe transport.
Ensure proper safety procedures and bring problems to attention of the lead on the job.
Be able to follow directions.
