General Laborer
About The Position
We are currently hiring dependable and hardworking General Laborers for a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, Michigan. This General Laborer position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, working in a team environment, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. The General Laborer will assist production teams, move materials, support assembly operations, maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, and help ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment with overtime opportunities available. Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or General Laborer experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume production environment
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Team-oriented attitude with strong attention to safety
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience working in industrial or production environments preferred

Responsibilities
- Perform general manufacturing and production support duties as a General Laborer
- Assist machine operators, assemblers, and production teams throughout the facility
- Move materials, parts, containers, and products throughout the plant as a General Laborer
- Load and unload production materials and components
- Package finished products and prepare materials for shipping
- Inspect parts and products for quality defects
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards
- Support assembly, sorting, stacking, labeling, and palletizing operations
- Assist with production line changeovers and material replenishment
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Support warehouse and production operations as needed
- Complete other duties assigned by production leadership
