About The Position

Smith Lawnscapes LLC, a family-oriented landscape construction and maintenance company, is seeking a dependable General Laborer to join our dedicated team. This role involves preparing jobsites, assisting with various construction projects, planting and maintaining lawns, and operating tools and equipment. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, physically capable of demanding outdoor work, and committed to safety and quality.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Dependable with good communication and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Nice To Haves

• Landscaping or construction experience is a plus
• Willing and able to learn new tools, equipment and skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare jobsites for landscape and construction projects
• Assist with patios, walkways, retaining walls, fences, decks & other projects
• Dig trenches, perform land clearing and prepare landscape areas
• Plant and maintain lawns and garden beds
• Load, unload and transport materials, tools and equipment
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Perform basic daily equipment inspections, cleaning and maintenance
• Assist Crew Leaders with daily project needs
• Read and follow basic plans, measurements and project specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
