About The Position
The Cary Company is hiring a General Labor Associate to join our Pittsburgh operation. We’re looking for someone who shows up on time, works hard, follows procedures, and helps set a positive example on the floor. This is a hands‑on role with steady hours, strong benefits, and room to grow.
Requirements
- Reliable, consistent work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take feedback to improve performance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team‑oriented with clear communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required (we’ll train)
Responsibilities
- Handling plastic containers, recycling materials, and industrial drums
- Palletizing product and using basic hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following safety procedures and standard work — no shortcuts
- Communicating clearly with supervisors and teammates to keep operations running smoothly
