About The Position

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a General Laborer for its Industrial Services team in Taylor, Texas. The position supports water treatment system setup, pipeline hydrostatic testing, and other industrial services work. The employee operates and maintains cleaning and pumping equipment, assists with job-site activities, and represents HPC-Industrial in maintaining working relationships with clients and customers. The role is available to transitioning military personnel seeking to apply their skills and training in civilian work.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained in other jobs.
Ability to understand English well enough to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
Valid driver license and compliance with the company driving policy when driving a company or personal vehicle on company business.
Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of how to operate emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.

Nice To Haves

Valid TWIC card, or ability to obtain one.
OSHA certification may be required for the job.

Responsibilities

Follow health and safety policies and processes, and act safely at all times.
Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment.
Operate specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
Energize and operate pumping, hydroblasting, chemical cleaning, vacuum truck, and cutting equipment used on the job.
Examine cleaned surfaces as needed to ensure they meet company and customer expectations.
Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit, company equipment, and peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment.
Dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
