About The Position
Assists in shop activities by performing various duties related to material handling, machine setup, and general cleaning of work areas.
Requirements
- Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 35 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks
- Delivers parts or stock to designated work areas
- Lifts metal part or stock onto machine and secures it on machine table, in chuck, or holding fixture to assist in setting up machine
- Cleans around work areas
