About The Position

Toledo Ice Cream, a DFA company, has immediate seasonal job openings for adaptable general laborers to perform all-purpose duties. These duties may include bundling packaged product, performing clean-up in a production plant environment, palletizing frozen products in a freezer warehouse setting, performing deep-cleaning sanitation duties within the production area, and operating onsite equipment and machinery safely. General laborers will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and assist others when lifting is required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, including some weekends and holidays
