General Laborer

About The Position
The General Laborer works on a picking line, sorting scrap materials to upgrade them and remove nonconforming items from the production process. The role requires a self-motivated team player who is willing to learn new skills and contribute to the team’s success. The position also involves cleaning conveyor spillage and maintaining mobile and fixed equipment.
Requirements
- Understand and adhere to safety regulations.
- Be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Be able to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Be able to repetitively lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Be a self-motivated team player who is willing to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Sort scrap materials on the picking line to upgrade them and remove nonconforming items.
- Clean spillage from conveyors using mobile equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain mobile and fixed equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
