About The Position
EMR USA is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support the daily operations of our yard. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of completing tasks independently while contributing to a team.
Requirements
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools (e.g., snip cutters, brooms, shovels)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overhead, climb ladders, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED (required)
Nice To Haves
- Previous forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the yard
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and potential hazards
- Support basic maintenance and upkeep of equipment
- Clean barges and various equipment as needed
- Follow all operating procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
