About The Position
We are looking for a General Laborer to provide support for the manufacturing of high-tech microscopy preparation equipment. Work setting is a small footprint, clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility supporting electromechanical assembly and precision machine shop. This could be a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to enter the manufacturing or machining industry.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Must be reliable and dependable.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing setting a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping / 5S responsibilities in production assembly, shipping & receiving and precision machine shop
- Assist full-time staff through cleaning, preparing and polishing precision machined parts for production and assembly
- Participate in special projects for betterment / efficiency of production teams
- Augment logistics associates ranging from receiving, inventory and shipping
- Duties could vary from day to day based on needs of production and management
- Additional duties as assigned
