About The Position

The Glazer Operator #1 is responsible for inspecting pans exiting the glaze machine. Pans are then to be placed onto an oven cart in a timely manner. Responsible for making sure the glaze coverage is adequate. The Glazer Operator #2 is responsible for inspecting pans prior to going into glaze machine. Pans are then to be placed on a conveyor belt in a timely manner. Responsible for making sure the spray pattern is adequate.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manuals
Ability to regularly stand, walk up and down steps, bending and twisting at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use hands to finger, handle, or feels objects, bending at the elbow, reach overhead, lifting from the floor, turning of the head, looking up and down, pushing and pulling
Must be able to lift and /or move more than 75 pounds
Training requirements include: Emergency Procedures, Emergency Response, Eye Protection, Fire Safety, Hazard Communication, Lockout Tagout Program, Slips, Trips and Falls, Hearing Conservation
Must wear safety glasses, goggles, ear plugs, plant approved gloves, and safety shoes.
Must wear Long Pants, Short or Long Sleeves. No tank tops or sleeveless shirts.
At no time shall any person extend any part of their body into the washer unless the washer has been properly locked out and tagged out.
