General Laborer – Hillsboro, OR
About The Position
HireQuest Direct is now hiring dependable General Laborers to support construction projects, warehouse operations, property cleanups, and commercial job sites throughout Hillsboro, OR, and surrounding Washington County areas. We have temporary, temp-to-hire, and ongoing opportunities for motivated individuals who are ready to work in fast-paced, hands-on environments. As a General Laborer, you'll help keep job sites safe, clean, and productive. Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include job site and construction cleanup, removing debris, scrap materials, and trash, sweeping, raking, and maintaining clean work areas, loading and unloading tools, equipment, and building materials, assisting skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other construction crews, moving and staging materials throughout job sites, light demolition and tear-down work, warehouse cleanouts, property cleanups, and general labor projects, and following all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Ready for hands-on, physical work
- Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in construction, industrial, or warehouse environments
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow directions and safety guidelines
- Willing to work at different job sites depending on available assignments
- No experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in construction, demolition, warehouse work, landscaping, moving, or general labor is a plus
