About The Position

Wieland is hiring a Production General Laborer. The General Laborer will be responsible for performing miscellaneous labor functions throughout the mill. This role is located in Montpelier, OH and will be fully on-site.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Minimum one-year manufacturing experience preferred
• Regularly required to stand (up to 100% of the time)
• Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
• Regularly required to walk and climb stairs; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, stoop or crawl; push and pull; and talk or hear
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds repetitively and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Instructed by supervisor on each task
• General housekeeping tasks - clean any area of Mill
• Chopping scrap
• Handle solid scrap
• Operates forklift to transport oil and trash to desingated locations
• Moves scrap to and from various locations
• Maintains equipment and performs duties in a clean and orderly condition
• Other duties as assisgned
