Purpose of the Role: To support the efficient and safe packaging and handling of mulch and soil products within the bagging barn and soil line operations. This hybrid position provides flexibility based on seasonality and business needs, assisting where production demand is greatest. The role plays a vital part in ensuring that products are properly mixed, filled, sealed, palletized, and prepared for shipment, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. General laborers in this position may rotate between tasks such as feeding materials into machinery, stacking finished pallets, cleaning equipment and work areas, and performing other duties to support smooth and efficient production flow. Position Summary: The General Laborer position is responsible for performing manual labor tasks to support the packaging and handling of mulch and soil products. Working as part of the production team, this role assists in both the bagging barn and soil line operations as needed. Responsibilities include operating and assisting with bagging and soil line machinery, cleaning the machines, mixing soil blends, loading materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring products meet quality and production standards.
