About The Position

This role is responsible for various tasks including operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and preparing drums for hazardous waste shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The employee must adhere to all safety rules and regulations and may be assigned additional duties by their foreman or plant manager. The company values and behaviors must be maintained at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
• Must be able to load and unload trucks.
• Must be able to clean and scrape used drums of rubber.
• Must receive hazardous waste training and pass all related tests.
• Must observe and practice all safety rules, regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to handle rolls of fabric, drums of rubber dispersion, and other goods.
• Load trucks with finished goods and unload trucks with raw materials, packaging, etc.
• Clean and scrape used drums of rubber and prepare for transport for hazardous waste shipments.
• Receive hazardous waste training and pass all related tests.
• Keep working areas clean and organized to avoid FOO.
• Observe and practice all safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Perform any other assignment given by the foreman and/or the plant manager.
• Maintain and Promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.
