About The Position

Sabrosura Foods is seeking a General Laborer for their packaging department. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, safety, and timely fulfillment of orders. The Utility Operator assists supervisors and leads in daily operations, working with various machines, products, and packaging materials. Communication and the ability to learn and adapt to different production needs are essential in this team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Perform production, sanitation, and other general duties as assigned, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Comply with GMP and OSHA requirements for safe job performance.
Place product on tables, in containers, and move containers around production lines.
Ensure containers have correct product information.
Weigh out product and place it on packaging equipment.
Inspect and remove defects or extraneous materials from products.
Report any mechanical or safety problems.
Adhere to all safety practices, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, shoveling, dumping, or disposing of materials.
Adhere to all plant hygiene standards to ensure product integrity.
Ensure employee safety, food safety, legality, and quality within the scope of responsibilities.
Demonstrate and uphold company core values in all work interactions.
