General Laborer & Machine Op– Laser Department - Daylight Shift
About The Position
IGS Industries Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented General Laborer to join their team in the Laser Department. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience who thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring parts meet strict quality standards, assisting in all areas of the department, and operating CNC Lasers. The company is a proud employee-owned, custom part and sealant manufacturer founded in 1962, with a 500,000 sq. ft. facility and 180 employees across five divisions. They are an American Manufacturing Company experiencing rapid growth and are looking for motivated individuals to join their team.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Become Tow Motor certified though IGS – must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude.
- Ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely with tools and equipment.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities
- Perform general production and manufacturing support tasks.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Operate hand tools and basic power equipment safely.
- Assist machine operators with setup, production, and cleanup.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
- Conduct basic quality inspections and report defects.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
