About The Position
RQ Construction has been a leader in commercial and government Design-Build construction since 1996. We're growing our Self-Perform team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and are looking for hardworking Concrete General Laborers who want to build a career with a company that values safety, teamwork, and quality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Construction or concrete experience preferred, but not required
- Experience on commercial, government, or military projects is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
- Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).
Responsibilities
- Perform general concrete and construction labor
- Use hand and power tools
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Assist skilled trades as needed
- Operate construction equipment when assigned
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site
