About The Position

This is a 1st Shift position, 6:30am-2:30pm. The employee is responsible for handling materials, candy, and producing product. They must set up, change-over, and run lines and/or assist packaging employees. They are responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area. Position requires the ability to work overtime, which may include varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read and write English
• High school Diploma or GED
• Ensures compliance with SQF, and other relevant standards
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production
• Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
• Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Policies (GMPs)
• Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
• Assists in other facets of production as needed
• Work at different work stations as production needs require
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to safety methods
• Responsible for finished goods
• Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable
