About The Position

This position is responsible for understanding and agreeing to follow safety rules. It requires the willingness to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds, work in damp, cold or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level. The role involves performing the duties of the position, standing for 8-10 hours a day, and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including ear protection, hair nets, and beard guards. Candidates must be able to maneuver freely, have good hand/eye coordination, and be willing to climb steps/stairs as needed. Tyson offers one-on-one job training for up to 8 weeks. A performance-based incentive ranging from $40 to $80 per day is available for Debone and Hand Cutters.

Requirements

Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than two times.
Failed Drug Screen - if you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
