About The Position

This role involves working on a paint line, requiring the ability to hang parts for the painting process, load and unload materials, and maintain organization of jobs and parts. The position also includes performing quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products, verifying job matches by pulling tags and matching them to job cut sheets, and occasionally conducting physical inventory counts and replenishing stock. The job emphasizes maintaining a safe and clean working environment and participating in quality improvement efforts. The role requires working 8-10 hour shifts, 6 days a week, with required Saturdays and overtime. Physical demands include extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, continuous lifting up to 75 pounds from floor to waist-high platform, use of hand tools, and working in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Hang parts on paint line for painting process.
• Load/Unload material from the paint line.
• Maintain organization of jobs/ parts during load/unload process.
• Perform quality inspections on incoming & outgoing materials & products.
• Pull tag from job rack/cart or pallet, match it to the job cut sheet to verify job match, initial and date.
• On occasion, conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
• Participates in quality improvement efforts.
