General Labor 1st shift SEPTEMBER Tyson of Rogers
About The Position
This position is responsible for understanding and agreeing to follow safety rules, and performing various physical tasks as required by the specific line of work. This includes pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 40+ pounds, working in varying environmental conditions (damp, cold, or hot), reaching above shoulder level, standing for 8-10 hours a day, and maneuvering freely as needed. The role also requires good hand/eye coordination and the ability to climb stairs when necessary. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including ear protection, hair nets, and beard guards, must be worn. Tyson offers one-on-one job training for up to 8 weeks. Additionally, certain roles may offer a performance-based incentive ranging from $40 to $80 per day for Debone and Hand Cutters.
Requirements
- 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members
- Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
