About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of tasks to facilitate the operation of the hatchery. Responsibilities include cleaning incubators, counting eggs/chicks, separating/culling chicks, assisting vaccinators, loading/unloading eggs, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. The position also requires adherence to all safety requirements, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, following Lockout-Tagout procedures, and participating in Process Safety Management-related matters. The employee will maintain a clean and safe working environment and participate in company and department safety programs.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work with others in a close environment.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work quickly and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of tasks to facilitate operation of the hatchery including but not limited to: cleaning incubators, counting eggs/chicks, separating/culling chicks, assisting vaccinators, loading/unloading eggs, and keeping work areas clean/organized.
