About The Position

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as General Laborers at a well-established and growing foundry in Norwich, KS. This is an entry-level opportunity with strong potential for advancement and long-term career growth within the foundry industry. This vital role provides labor support throughout the foundry and is critical to the success of the casting and production process. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals specializing in metallurgy and ironwork while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more regularly
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial conditions
• Ability to safely operate around machinery and moving equipment

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Positive attitude and strong reliability
• Desire to learn and grow within the field of ironwork and metallurgy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lift castings and other materials weighing 25 pounds or more
• Accurately complete required paperwork and quality checks
• Operate multiple machines and heavy equipment
• Assist with furnace relining
• Participate in foundry cleanup and housekeeping duties
• Support production and other departments as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned
