Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work in a very cold environment.
• Willingness to go up and down stairs.
• Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken.
• Able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
• Willingness to work on a stand that is two (2) feet above floor level.
• Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
• Ability to lift (weight depends on area).
• Willingness to work in cold, damp or hot, humid environments, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
• Willing to walk up and down stairs as some departments are located on the lower level.
• Willingness to stand on and work on a platform that is about two feet above floor level.
• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If previously employed at Tyson, there is a 365-day waiting period before reapplying.
• Number of Times Worked at Tyson: Can apply if worked at Tyson no more than three times.
• Failed Drug Screen: If a failed drug screen occurred, there is a 6-month waiting period.
• Certain roles require background checks.
