About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company with nationwide services, is seeking General Laborers for its Muscatine, IA 52761 location. This role involves assisting drivers with covering flatbed trailers, securing loads, and performing physically demanding outdoor work. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 3rd Shift, from 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM, with an hourly pay of $18.00, paid biweekly.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must provide two valid forms of identification (Photo ID & SSC.)
• Steel-toe boots are required for safety.
• Reliable transportation is required (No public transportation available near the job site.)
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions year-round.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, and securing heavy tarps.
• Willingness to undergo a Background check is required.
• Must be available to start working immediately.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with covering flatbed trailers using heavy-duty tarps.
• Secure tarps using straps, chains, and bungee cords to ensure safe transport of loads.
• Perform physically demanding work in an outdoor environment.
• Inspect tarps and securement equipment for proper use.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with additional yard and labor duties as assigned.
