About The Position

Provide general entry-level unskilled manual labor to any and all areas of wood processing operations. Perform or help with job operations in the facility. Learn and perform basic operations to be able to assist and fill-in where needed. This is a 2nd shift position.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand for ten hours, bend, twist, lift 50 lbs., walk up and down stairs, kneel occasionally, and do general manual labor.
• Must be drug free (this includes all marijuana).
• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Follow set safety procedures.
• Team player.
• Set priorities.
• Be flexible in job assignments.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to meet job productivity expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide general entry-level unskilled manual labor to any and all areas of wood processing operations.
• Perform or help with job operations in the facility.
• Learn and perform basic operations to be able to assist and fill-in where needed.
• Be flexible in job assignments and willing to move positions throughout the day.
• Able to stand for long periods of time while lifting, sorting, handling product with both hands.
• Able to visually inspect product for defects - knots, cracks, etc.
