About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This facility produces case ready Beef/ Pork, Ground Beef and Chicken products. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on B Shift (EVENINGS). Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, beef, pork, chicken and ground beef. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting and pulling up to 40 pounds. Successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. All work is performed in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 38 to 42 degrees and require standing up to 12 hours per day. Applicants must be willing to work with knives, if required, and wear all proper safety equipment and must be willing to work overtime and weekends if required. This facility runs 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday, Sundays as needed. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S.; and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of a post-offer health assessment.
