About The Position

General Labor position in the Weld Department at George Evans Corporation. This is a hands-on role where team members take pride in hard work, quality, and doing things the right way. The job involves staying busy, working with hands, and being part of a team that depends on each member. The work week is Monday-Thursday with 10-hour shifts, resulting in a 3-day weekend.

Requirements

• Manufacturing or hands-on experience preferred (2–3 years is a plus)
• Ability to read drawings and use basic math
• Attention to detail
• Reliability and strong attendance
• Willingness to learn, improve, and be part of a team

Responsibilities

• Grind, prep, and finish metal parts to meet quality standards
• Inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products
• Read prints and follow procedures to get the job done right
• Operate hoists, cranes, and shop equipment safely
• Use measuring tools to make sure everything is within spec
• Help identify and prevent quality issues before they become problems
• Work side-by-side with a team focused on productivity and efficiency
